Kim and Julie has been married since 1984, and have two daughters, one son and four grandchildren. They live in Potosi outside of Abilene, Texas. Kim is currently serving as Junior Warden of Hobah Lodge #1394 in Abilene, Texas. He is a member of the Abilene Shrine Club and a member of the Waco Scottish Rite bodies. Kim will be Texas Shrine Association President in 2024 which will be held in San Angelo, Texas. Kim and Julie loves Suez Shrine and everything Shriners stand for. They love to support Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Josh and Marilyn Scott have been married for twelve years and they have two girls: Emmie and Ellie. They are type 1 diabetes advocates since their daughter has had it since she was three years old. They have enjoyed traveling and having new adventures since getting on the Divan. Marilyn works for Happy Company and Josh is the Corporative Executive of Imperative Builders. Josh is a past Master of Hylton Lodge #884 and was District Deputy Grand Master for 2020. Josh joined Suez Shrine in 2016 and served as Nolan County Shrine Club President for two years and Parade marshal for three years. He loves helping the community and supporting the Suez Shrine Center and Shrine Hospitals for Children. Josh has enjoyed everything Masonry has taught him and look forward to what comes next!

Steven T. Shepard

Steven and his wife Susan lives in Tuscola, Texas and have been happily married for Thirty-seven years. They have one daughter, one son-in-law and two beautiful grandchildren. Steven has been in the medical field for Thirty-six years. Steven is five times Past Master of Lawn Lodge #1230 and is endowed member of Hilton Lodge #884 and Hobah Lodge #1394. He is also a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason of the Valley of Waco and was recently honored with the Knight Commander Court of Honor. He was President of the Abilene Shrine Club in 2019. He is also a member of the York Rite, Big Country Chapter #310, Big Country Council #192, Stamford Commandry #75, Life Sponsor of the Knight Templar Eye Foundation. He is member of the York Rite College #128 Heart of Texas and Member of the Ancient Order of Camel Herders Concho Stable #46. Steven and Susan feel greatly honored, blessed and humbled to be part the Suez Divan, and supports Shriners Hospital’s for Children.

Edward Garcia

Edward is originally from San Antonio, Texas. He relocated to Ballinger Texas in 2019 where he began his masonic journey with Ballinger Lodge #643 becoming a Master mason. Edward is a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason Valley of Waco, a member of Ballinger Axillary Lodge of Protection and a member of Knights of Saint Andrew. Edward and Trysh have been together for eight years. They have four children: Bryntley, Landon, Memory and Heaven. Their passion is to help others when in need, especially when it comes to children. Edward and Trysh are proud to be a part of the Shriners organization. As a family, they support Shriners Hospital for Children and what it does and stands for.

Carl Shanks

Carl was born and raised in Midland, Texas. After graduating from Robert E. Lee High School, he worked his way up to assistant foreman for Pioneer Natural Gas. Carl’s driving interest in law enforcement took over. This career started in 1980 at Ector County and continues today as a reserve deputy at Andrews County. Carl has a great admiration for his uncles who were Shriners. He therefore chose to pursue becoming a Mason. He achieved this goal in three months, being raised as a Master Mason on May 16, 1995 at Andrews Lodge

1024. Carl went on to join El Madia Shriners in March of 1996. Carl joined

Suez Shrine in 2003 as an associate member. Later he demitted from El Madia and became a regular member of Suez Shrine. Carl has been very active in the Shrine over the years. He has served in many leadership roles including Provost Unit Marshal, Texas State Provost Guard Association State Marshal, a five year term as Recorder for the Texas State Provost Guard Association, and currently holds the Imperial office of Captain of the International Association of Shrine Provost. Carl and his Lady Tammy have been married for 30 years. They have two amazing dogs - Moe and Molly. While Carl and Lady Tammy do not have any children of their own, they both are very committed to the children of Shriner’s Hospitals. Supporting the hospitals and having fun doing it, are a priority in their lives.
